Ty Siriol Welsh Pork Producer

Ty Siriol Pork is a family run smallholding near Pontarddulais, Swansea
breeding and rearing Purebred Welsh pigs.

Our philosophy is "keep it simple" and you will see this reflected in everything that we do.

The health and well being of our Purebred Welsh pigs is our top priority as we firmly believe that only happy pigs will produce great tasting Welsh Pork. We're out there with them every day, feeding and mucking out so they're totally at ease with us.

We make all of our Welsh Pork products ourselves in our butchery on the smallholding and we're committed to producing top quality hand made Welsh Pork products by raising happy and contented pigs.

We are very proud of the Welsh Pork, sausages and bacon that we produce and we hope that you will enjoy them too.

Original Handmade Pork Sausages.

Our Ty Siriol Original Handmade Welsh Pork Sausages are our most popular product with a large number of loyal customers who buy them regularly. We must warn you that we've already converted many kids to eating our Ty Siriol Handmade Welsh Pork Sausages and as a result, they now won't eat any other sausages! Vacuum packed in 6's, they're fine to put in the freezer when you get them home if you need to. You can grill, fry or barbeque our Ty Siriol Handmade Sausages but we prefer to pop them in the oven with a little olive oil at 200C for 20 minutes for the best results. Ty Siriol Handmade Sausages are also perfect for toad in the hole or a sausage casserole. In line with our philosophy of "keep it simple" our Ty Siriol Handmade Sausages have just four ingredients.

Bacon.

All our bacon is produced from our own Purebred Welsh pigs and dry cured by us on the smallholding. In line with our philosophy of "keep it simple" our Dry Cured Bacon has just two ingredients.

  • Boned Pork
  • Curing salt

We do NOT add any water to our bacon, so there will not be any of the horrible "white residue" in the pan after you've cooked it.

*NEW* Sweet Cured Back Bacon.

Prepared from the loin or "back" of the pig and dry cured using the same method as our collar and streak bacon. The only difference being the addition of sugar to the curing salt to add the sweetness.

Usually packed as four rashers and vacuum packed which is fine to put in the freezer when you get home if you need to.

Dry Cured Collar Bacon.

Prepared from the collar or neck of the pig, Collar bacon is a darker colour than the more widely available back bacon, with more marbling in the meat. This combination of marbling and darker meat produces the most flavoursome bacon that you will taste. We slice it nice and thick, too.

Usually packed as four rashers and vacuum packed which is fine to put in the freezer when you get home if you need to.

Our Dry Cured Collar Bacon is perfect for a bacon sarnie and also our personal favourite.

Dry Cured Streaky Bacon.

Prepared from the belly of the pig, Streaky bacon is sliced much thinner than our collar bacon .

Usually packed as six rashers and vacuum packed which is fine to put in the freezer when you get home if you need to.
